Get fit series: 30 Day Squat Challenge!

Wednesday, April 30, 2014
Lately I have been motivated to challenge myself and what better way to challenge myself with fitness. Everyone is getting ready for summer, so am I but I want these results to last when summer is over. So I go on Pinterest almost everyday and I saw this 30 day squat challenge. Luckily this challenge has rest days, because I would probably go insane!
So starting May 1 I will start this challenge. I know May has 31 days, but that's ok I will just have another rest day. As I am writing this post I feel like I should do a challenge every month and make it a get fit series: 30 day challenge. For the first few months all of my challenges will be inspired/related to Pinterest!
If you want to do this challenge too, just let me know and we can start together! If you see this post after tomorrow and you want to try it, you can still start it. It doesn't matter when. I am doing this on May 1, because it's a new month and a fresh start!

7 Everyday Beauty Tips!

Sunday, April 27, 2014
This is just a small list of Beauty tips I have, that are
important to me. Hopefully they are helpful to you!

1. Make sure to take your makeup off before bed!

2. Do not put to much heat on your hair!

3. After washing your hair, rinse with cold water to lock in the moisture!

4. Sulfate free shampoo and conditioner is the way to go. This will not
strip your hair of its natural oils!

5. Olive oil is good for keeping the ends of your hair moisturized!

6. Drink lots of water, it's good for your skin!

7. Biotin, also known as Vitamin H is good for your hair, skin, and nails. If you do not feel comfortable taking supplements it's ok. Biotin is found in foods such as: nuts (almonds and walnuts), carrots, milk, fruit (strawberries), vegetables (onions and cucumbers), and whole grains. The list goes on!

Feel free to list any tips you may have in the comments!

90's kid tag!

Saturday, April 26, 2014

I am a 90's kid and writing this tag is so exciting. Being a 90's kid was so awesome, a lot of special memories for me! I apologize in advance for multiple answers, I just could not choose one! I got the idea to do this tag, from watching ScottishStefsNails. Checkout her video, here's the link:
1. Favorite TV show?
I had a lot of favorite shows like: Rugrats, Hey Arnold, ahh real monsters, KaBlam, Sailor Moon, All that, Angry beavers,  As told by Ginger, Power rangers, Pinky and the brain, Animaniacs, The Powerpuff girls, Doug, Pepper Ann, Recess, and more!
2. Favorite Toy?
Anything with Barbie: Barbie dolls, Barbie doll house! I also liked Play dough (Play-doh); was that considered a toy?!
3. Favorite Commercial?
I do not remember.
4. NSync or Backstreet Boys?
I liked both groups, so it's really hard to choose.
5. Weirdest Fashion Trend?
I do not think I had one. I know I wore overalls, but I don't think that was weird.
6. Favorite Collectables?
Barbie Dolls.
7. Favorite Beanie Baby?
I did not have a favorite Beanie Baby.
8. How many Tamagotchi's did you go through?
Only 2.
9. Favorite Game Console + Game?
PlayStation and Sega! I use to play wrestling and other games. It's funny I only really remember wrestling, I guess that's why I'm a fan.
10. Favorite Disney Channel Original Movie?
I loved Hocus Pocus. Whenever it comes on I watch it because it brings me back to being a kid! Wait that was a mistake. This was not a Disney channel original, although it was created by Disney. Halloweentown, Zenon:Girl of the 21st Century, Johnny Tsunami, and The Thirteenth Year! Sorry but I had more than one!
11. Favorite Music Artist?
Spice Girls. I remember having a Spice girls microphone!
12. Favorite Nick Jr. show?
Blues Clues and The Busy World of Richard Scarry
13. Favorite Candy?
M & M's
14. Favorite Game (Board game, School game, etc.)?
My favorites are Sorry, Guess Who, Candy land, and Trouble! Every now and then I still bring out the board games. I also loved playing Bop it! I also remember Where in the world is Carmen San Diego. I also loved playing seven up in school, that game was so much fun!
15. Favorite McDonald's Happy Meal Toy?
I did not have a favorite toy. Whenever I got a toy with my Happy Meal I was excited. Honestly it didn't matter what toy it was.
16. Favorite Book?
I have more than one favorite. I love all Amelia Bedelia books, Arthur books, Eloise books, etc.
17. Favorite Clothing Store?
My mom always brought my clothes, so I do not know.
18. What would you watch when you'd get home from school?
I remember watching The Little Lulu Show all the time. I loved that show! I also loved watching Arthur! I would also watch the Magic school bus!

Are you a 90's kid?!

Bloggers vs Bloggers?

Friday, April 4, 2014
Ever feel like there is competition between bloggers (beauty, fashion, or a life bloggers)? I do. After a while it becomes a popularity contest of who has the most followers. Does having more followers make your blog better? In my opinion, no. But it seems that way.

I feel like a lot of blogs are underrated because they only have 10, 50, or even a hundred followers. For example, if a popular blogger has 400 followers and post an Outfit if the day; they have 20+ comments. In contrast if another blogger post an Outfit of the day they might only get 4 comments, because they only have 30 followers. To me it's like what's the difference, it's the same kind of post. What about two bloggers writing a review on the same product? Just because one blogger has more followers does not mean the other blogger with less followers are wrong, or that their opinion is not credible.

When bloggers overlook one another because of the amount of followers they have, I get a little annoyed. Just because someone does not have hundreds of followers like you, does not mean their blog is horrible. I feel everyone should give each other a chance. From what I have seen a lot of people stop blogging because their discouraged and put down. Sometimes these are people who have been blogging for 3 years. Instead of overlooking one another we all should be helping each other become better.

This is only my opinion and what I've experienced and noticed with other bloggers. I truly believe there is no right or wrong to blogging, about what makes you happy or what you love to do.

What do you think?
