My Blog Is 5!

Thursday, October 19, 2017
Five years ago on this exact date my life changed. Part of my life I guess you can say. You what scratch that, blogging has become a huge part of me. It has definitely made a huge impact on me. The only thing that’s the same is my personality and I still look the same! In this post I’m going to be more open with you guys. I’m going to tell you I how felt about my blog up until last year. I’m honest in everything I write, so why should this be any different. In another post that I wrote, I mentioned I started blogging in June of 2012. Unfortunately that didn’t work out and I deleted the blog no sooner than I published my first post.

I’m actually glad it didn’t work out, because I wasn’t ready. So it’s safe to say I started exactly when I was suppose to. Before that I had no confidence at all and my self esteem was really low. Now in this present time it’s gotten a lot better but I’m still a work in progress. But anyway I’m moving ahead of myself. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I was going to take this risk it was really now or never.

I was clueless, confused and I didn’t know what the hell I was doing. I had no one to help me, so I was in this alone. I apologize if you see any errors and for this post, it’s on purpose. I’m writing this at this very moment and my mind is running in circles. I am feeling so many emotions. But this is me Ashley and you’re just going to have to accept that!

To be honest with you guys, I didn’t think I would still be blogging. Remember in the beginning of this post I said up until last year.  In the beginning of 2016 I wanted to throw in the towel, I was just fed up with my blog. I just felt like there was no point to continue with and it was useless.

That’s when I decided to dissect the real problems I had with my blog. Previously I had two blog names “life of a Jerseygirl and Ashley Olivia”. Obviously the second name is the my real name, so when I changed it, I wasn’t losing anything because it’s still my real life name! Anyway in March of last year I changed my name “hopefully” for the final time. I believe “Pieces Of Ashley” is a better fit. I’m sharing pieces of my life with you, so it only makes sense. I have also changed my blog design so many times, because I thought that was the reason. That led me to the real reason, which was my blog photos. So during that time I researched ways to make my photos better. I brought props and I got out of my comfort zone, I challenged myself and my creativity. It was all worth it.

I won’t bore you with anymore because I have a lot of posts on the changes my blog has been through. As I always say blogging has changed my life in a good and I’m so glad I opened the door to this journey. I couldn’t see my life without my blog. All of the opportunities I’ve and experienced and will continue too, I’ve become a good writer and blogging has taught me to be more organized. I’m happy for is all of the wonderful bloggers I talk to. To  One more thing I forgot to mention, I bought my own domain in July and I know it's something small but this has always been important to me. To say that I can finally enjoy my blog is progress. My blog and I have grown together and it's amazing!

I hope you have enjoyed reading! If you want to know about all of the changes my blog has went through, I will leave the links to each post below!

Avène Cleanance Micellar Water

Tuesday, October 17, 2017
I’m not an expert on skin care products and honestly I don’t even have a routine. You’re probably thinking, “Is she even normal?”. Anyway I like trying a range of products it keeps my options open. But seriously I need a skincare routine that fits my needs. For awhile I’ve been hearing people talk about Micellar Water and I knew I had to try it out myself. So I found it on Notino, which is an online store I like to shop from. They have so many variety of products from perfumes to makeup!

Cleanance Micellar water gently removes impurities, including makeup, from the face and eyes without the need of rinsing, and helps to reduce excess sebum thanks to Monolaurin. Avène Thermal Spring Water provides soothing and anti-irritating benefits. It leaves the skin clean, clear and refreshed. This product is used to minimize the risk of allergic reactions and proven tolerance on oily and acne-prone skin.

Overall I really like the Micellar cleansing water. It’s great for people with blemishes and  problematic acne- prone skin, which is something I’ve been struggling with lately. This Cleansing Water absorbs easily onto my skin without leaving any greasy residue or sticky feeling. It’s light weight and isn’t heavy on my skin. I love how it’s soothing on my skin and I don’t experience redness, like I normally do with other products. Another plus is the Cleanance Micellar Water is can also be used to remove makeup! To use this product apply in the morning and/or evening to the face and eyes using a cotton pad. If needed, follow with a light mist of Avène Thermal Spring Water, gently pat dry and apply a suitable skin care. This costs $19.90 and the bottle size is 13.52 oz. I think this is a great size and worth it, because the product will last a while before you run out.

I hope you enjoyed reading and let me know what products you like to use for your skin!

Macadamia Natural Oil: Heating Oil Treatment

Monday, October 9, 2017
I love trying out new products for my hair, it's actually a fun process for me. Surprisingly, I’m still trying to figure out what works and does not work for my hair. The struggle is real when trying to find the “right” shampoos and conditioners or oils and creams. My hair is frizzy and I have a hard time taming it. It’s annoying and sometimes I just don’t want to be bothered with it. Does any one else feel like this? It’s very important that I keep my hair moisturized and nourished. Making sure I give my hair what it needs is very important to me.

In a post I wrote a while ago I talked about using the Macadamia Hair Masque and if you want, check that post out here: Macadamia Deep Repair Masque! Anyway I really liked using repair masque and it has really helped my hair become more healthy. So recently, I found the Macadamia Hair Oil Treatment on Notino. It's a great online store that has a range of products for men and women.

This Oil Treatment claims that it instantly absorbs into the hair, weightlessly infusing moisture, health, softness, protection, control and shine. One important thing about this product is that it’s great for all types of hair, which really appealed to me when I read about it. You can use this product in a couple of ways which is good because it will fit your hair needs. For example, you can work a small amount onto damp or dry hair; for extra nourishment add a small amount to your hair masque or leave- in cream.

Overall I really like this Oil Treatment! This Hair Oil costs $19.89 for 4.2 oz and it’s worth it. I recommend using a small pump or two because this product goes along way. I mix a little bit of this oil with my leave in conditioner to help tame my frizzy hair and to also give it that extra shine. It does absorb into my hair quickly and the product is not heavy on my hair. I do not like when hair products are heavy because, that weighs my hair down and makes it look lifeless. I'm glad this macadamia oil is the opposite. Using this oil on the ends of my hair also keeps them moisturized throughout the day. Most importantly, I apply this oil on my scalp while doing my daily scalp massages which stimulates hair growth.

Avene Skin Care Soothing And Hydrating Mask

Monday, August 28, 2017

If you're anything like me finding the right skincare products can be challenging. For one when you pick certain creams and oils to apply to the skin, you are risking irritation or other side effects. One thing I like is face masks, it's perfect for a at home spy day and just for relaxation in general! Notino is a great and affordable site that I got the Avene soothing mask, I'm going to talk about.

The Avene soothing and hydrating mask renews the skin barrier and optimized skin hydration. The Safflower oil, in this mask immediately makes your skin feel comfortable and gives it  a smooth and youthful appearance. This hydrating mask also contains thermal water, which among other ingredients soothes irritated skin and prevents the sensations of tightness. Not only does this hydrate the top layers of your skin, the mask also brightens and softens it up. If you experience redness, irritation and sensitive skin, this would be good to use.

I like this soothing mask, initially I didn't know how I would feel about this. Some of the masks I have tried in the past either left my skin irritated or left a greasy residue. The mask was easy to apply and it sat well on my face until it was time to take it off. To apply you have to put a thick layer of mask onto your face and neck, then leave it on for about 10 to 15 minutes. While you're waiting this would be a good time to, finish getting ready if you are on the go or make this apart of your me time. After wipe away any excess product using a make-up remover pad. Overall I think this is a good product and I like how my skin feels after using this. It feels rejuvenated, moisturized and comes back to life.

I Stand For Equality

Sunday, August 27, 2017
I'm all for equality, it's something I strongly believe in. When you're younger, things aren't quite as complicated. Before  I continue, this is my opinion and how I feel. Everything is pretty simple and everyone looks at one another as the same. It's when you become an adult that things aren't quite as clear. Like many other kids when I was growing up, I didn't really see how sexist, racist, homophobic and judgmental this world really is.
No one should have to be afraid to show some skin, because it might give someone the "wrong" idea. Just because someone wears revealing clothing does not give people the right to take advantage of them. That doesn't give people the right to make them feel uncomfortable like they've done something wrong, no means no. Why is it that women have to be labeled as weak? Why can't a women do a "mans job" better than him? Wake up people it's the 21st century, a place where women have rights!
I didn't think in 2017 people would still be fighting for equality, but I guess that's the judgmental world we live in. No one should have to live in fear for their lives, because of their race or religion. No one should have to hide who they are and who they love, because others think it's not normal or even human. Has anything even changed?
I mean let's really think about it. There's still racial profiling, there's still sexism, and there's still judgment towards the lgbtq community. The question I have is why is this still happening? I guess this is a rhetorical question, because no one has an exact explanation. I believe in equality and instead of things changing for the better, I feel like things are going backwards in the wrong direction.

I hope you enjoyed reading! What do you think about the situations that are currently taking place in this world or wherever you live?

Coco Shea Cucumber Body Scrub

Saturday, August 26, 2017

One thing I love trying out almost as much as hair products is body scrubs. They make my skin feel smooth, soft, hydrated and refreshed. The Coco Shea Cucumber Body Scrub is no different. I got this body scrub from Notino , which is a site that has a wide range of beauty products. From makeup to hair to skincare and this list goes on.
Cocoa butter and Shea butter moisturizers and replenishes your skin. Cocoa Shea blends two of nature's most nourishing ingredients, the vitamin packed cocoa butter and the rich moisturizing Shea butter creates the ultimate collection of skin loving formulas.  Also included is the Cucumber water which is great for revitalizing the skin to look hydrated and smooth. With smoothing pumice and a cleansing gel formula, the foaming scrub leaves the skin feeling revitalized and touchable.

My skin feels so much better while using the coco shea cucumber body scrub and it's definitely worth the try. This foaming scrub is very refreshing and I love how soft my skin feels and how hydrated it looks afterwards. The size of this product is 8 oz., which is great because it lasts awhile and can be used more than six times! The consistency of the gel in thick and creamy but does not leave a sticky feeling after using. Depending on how much product you use will determine the amount of foam and lather. So if you want to feel like you're taking a bubble bath, than you would use a good amount. Overall I like this body scrub and I can see myself repurchasing in the future.

Does Real Friendships Still Exists?

Friday, August 25, 2017

Remember when you were younger and you had like one hundred friends and by the time you reached adulthood you were lucky to have at least three real ones. Friends are a tricky situation and when you're little you have no idea what adulthood is really like. Honestly friends are hard to find, well at least in my opinion. I feel like you have to climb the biggest mountain in order to find a friend that's honest, loyal and respects you. If you have a friend with these qualities, consider yourself lucky.
Does friendships even have the same meaning anymore? I mean whatever happened to going to the movies or having slumber parties and painting each other's nails. I understand people take different paths in life, obviously it's apart of growing up. But when you don't keep in touch and everyone is busy, you wonder is the friendship even there. I remember being a senior in high school and I would hear people say, 95% of the people you're in school with you'll never see again. Honestly that scared me a bit. I've known a good amount of people since elementary and after graduation, it's like we won't even exist to each other.
It was so much easier when you were a kid. Everyone became friend s by sharing coloring books and crayons or playing with Barbie dolls. Now as an adult, it seems like you have to create a checklist to make sure someone has the qualities you're looking for in a friend. But if you already have good friends, especially ones that have been there for since childhood or as adult I suggest you hold on tight to them.
I feel like it's just best to have a small circle of friends, who you know will always be there for you. You know what they say, it's better to have a few real friends than to have a lot of fake friends!
I hope you enjoyed reading! What do you think about friendships, do they still hold the same meaning?

Easy Breakfast Ideas

Wednesday, August 23, 2017

Who says being healthy could taste pretty good. Well to be honest I didn't think it could, until a couple of months ago. So I decided to share some ideas I like to eat. By the way these are very easy to make in no time. Whether you're in a rush or you just don't feel like a time consuming meal. Some of these recipes you can even make the night before, so when you get up in the morning all you have to do is put everything together!

Peanut Butter & Banana On Wheat Toast: This is an easy breakfast and it very fulfilling at the same time. It's also full of protein and some carbs.

Boiled Egg with Wheat Toast: If you're looking for a quick bite to eat for breakfast here's the perfect idea! Boiled eggs in my opinion feels you up, until you eat a snack in between the day.

Scrambled Eggs With Toast And Turkey Bacon or Sausage On The Side: This suggestion is easy, but may take a little time. If you're going to be busy that day, maybe get up a few minutes early to prep.

Banana Bread: I love Banana bread, it's definitely a morning favorite for me. Anytime I make it, I use "Laura In The Kitchen's" recipe!

Oatmeal: As a kid I did not like oatmeal at all and I thought it was gross. But a couple of months ago, I decided to try it again and I actually loved it! To spice it up I like to add Bananas and honey, I also put cinnamon while it's cooking. Now that I am getting use to it, I really want to try making overnight oatmeal.

I hope you enjoyed reading and please leave suggestions of what you like. I want to try something new!

6 Things I Love About Blogging

Friday, August 18, 2017
I don't know what my life would have been like if I wasn't a blogger. For some reason I don't ever want to know. I can't believe I'm saying these words, very sentimental and funny at the same time. I didn't even know what blogging was until I started on social media.
Sometimes I wish that I had started blogging sooner than I did. What if I hadn't deleted my blog in June 2012? What if I gave up completely and never started again in October of that same year? So many questions but yet I don't really have a clear answer.

Over the years I've learned so much about myself and about other people. I can go on a long rant about how much blogging has changed me. But I'm pretty sure that would be boring and awkward. So I decide to share the 6 things I love about blogging.

The Blogging Community
I haven't experienced any negativity from the blogging community, so I would have to say it's amazing. Everyone is so supportive and that doesn't come by often. If you have a question people will take the time to help and if they don't know the answer, they will direct you to someone who might.
Twitter Chats
I love twitter chats, you meet a lot of bloggers. I feel like these chats are a way of getting to know people on a more personal level. Most of these chats are fun and the others are super informative with helpful tips for your blog.
Creating Content
I actually love writing, because it's a form of expression for me. I can write for hours and hours, which has never been the case for me in the beginning.
Receiving Comments on my blog
I love receiving comments on my blog it makes my day. I take time to reply to comments and I also go on the persons blog to comment. I know I have been slacking, but because of that I like to comment on more than one post from a blogger.

Taking Photos
This use to be my least favorite thing to do and the passion for it was a struggle. I didn't realize how creative I could be with photos, which made it difficult for me to enjoy. But now this is my favorite part.

Supporting Other Bloggers
I love supporting other people especially bloggers. Whether it's a retweet, like, commenting and sharing their posts or blog I'll do it. I want them to know that I like reading their blog and how much I enjoy it.

I hope you enjoyed reading! What are the things you love about blogging?

Places To Buy Props

Thursday, August 17, 2017
When I first started blogging I either used images from google or I just didn't have any. As time past I realized it would be better if I took my own pictures. So three years ago, I bought a camera but there was still work to do. My pictures were ok since I was just starting, but there was still room for improvement.
So let's fast forward to the beginning of last year. I was in a slump about my blog and nothing could make me happy about it. My pictures weren't good enough and I just wanted to give up. I decided to get out of my comfort zone and start taking better care of my blog. During my break from blogging, I researched ways I could make my photos better and I came across a lot of helpful tips on props and backgrounds for my pictures.
Before I did my research I would look at other blogs and wonder how did they create such gorgeous pictures. I always thought that everything was so expensive and personally I wasn't going to pay for all of that. But reading bloggers tips and tricks on great photos, showed me that you can create a marble background or the white fluffy background we all admire. I guess that's the whole point of a D.I.Y. Project!
So listed below are the props that I like to use for my blog posts. You can find these items or similar ones at the Dollar Tree, Walmart, and Shopping Online. Most importantly a lot of these items can be found at home. In my opinion it's nice to use what you have on hand. It honestly makes the pictures unique.

The Dollar Tree is great because, well the name can speak for itself. I like buying candles, flowers and succulents from here. It's affordable and there's a variety of colors or scents! I get most of my beauty products from Walmart. So I like incorporating them as props in my photos. Some props may not be available in stores, so Shopping Online is your best friend. I've never bought props online, but I have seen some things I should put on my wishlist.
Beauty Props: If you're looking for props for beauty posts, you probably already have them on hand. I don't mean products that you're reviewing, but ones about makeup tips or hair hacks.
Makeup Brushes
Nail Polish
Hair Products
Hair Ties
Bobby Pins
Lifestyle Props: These are my favorite props to look for. It's super simple and this topic is so versatile.
Fashion Props: If You're into Fashion, I think there is so much you can do. You have so many different and unique styles to take pictures of!

Purses/ Handbags
Home Décor Props: I love reading décor posts because you get a sense of the bloggers style and they may post some good tips and suggestions to follow. Also some of these products, if not all are found at your house.
Fruit Bowls
Pots & Pans
Tea Cups

Backgrounds: For my backgrounds I bought marble contact paper from Amazon for about $12. You can also get contact paper from Walmart or Target, but it will not be marble. I also like using my shag rug, it costs $5 at Five Below.

Things You Can Do To Relax

Thursday, July 27, 2017
Life can be stressful at times and it may seem as if you can never catch a break. Whether you're working, going to school, taking care of kids, making sure everything is in one piece at home or whatever the case may be you need some time to relax. Honestly even if it's just 15 minutes, that small amount of time  really does help. So I decided to share with you the things you can do to relax.
Indulge In Something You Don't Usually Have Or Do.
Sometimes it's ok to indulge, besides you deserve it. It can be going shopping or having your favorite snack. It can be as simple as catching up on your favorite YouTube channel!
Take A Nice Hot Bubble Bath.
I'm sure this one is everyone's favorite thing to do. Not only is taking a hot bath relaxing but adding in your favorite bubbles or bath bombs, definitely puts the cherry on top of the cake. This can really clear your mind and get you back focused and motivated.
Read Your Favorite Magazine.
I'm guilty of reading the latest gossip, but this really relaxing. Seeing what's going on with your favorite celebrity and checking out new beauty trends. A few of my favorite magazines to read are: People, US Magazine, and Cosmopolitan!
Binge Watch A Series On Netflix.
If you're one who's into the Whole "Netflix and Chill" thing that's fine, but for me it's more like Netflix and stuff my face with pizza and ice cream!
Take A Nice Long Walk.
Walking definitely helps you to relax. It's very calming and if you're anything like me your mind wonders off, into another world. Taking walks also help clear your mind. For me I get inspiration from this and I start to plan all of the things I want to accomplish. Plus any form of exercise is a great stress reliever!
I hope you enjoyed reading this! Let me know if you have other ideas on the things you can do to relax.

8 TV Shows You Should Watch!

Monday, July 24, 2017
I'm very picky when it comes to finding a good TV show. So when I find one it has to have the qualities of a great show. For example, a consistent story line(s) a great cast an interesting plot and cliffhangers! Surprisingly these shows have become my favorites and others I don't watch as often but I binge on reruns. If you're looking for new shows to watch, new or old here are 10 TV shows you should watch.
Law & Order: SVU
Mariska Hargitay is a great actress and her portrayal as Olivia Benson is brilliant. She makes you feel like you're in an episode of law and order. If you're not into police shows then this might not be for you, but the drama and reality of the story lines are very deep. In every episode the beginning grabs your attention and the plot stays consistent and it doesn't drift into a another direction. Olivia Benson's is caring but at the same time she plays no games. I like and admire this character as well as actress Mariska Hargitay, because there's still a lot of people who don't believe a woman should be in charge. So I think both actress and character are breaking barriers! Law and Order can be found on NBC Wednesday nights or repeats on the USA Network and the ION channel.
Criminal Minds
This is a show that I haven't watched in two seasons, but it still remains a must watch. It's hard not to get attached to characters because they inspire and you can't help but to feel compassion for them. I still watch repeats of this show because it's that good. This is also a police FBI kind of show, I can't help it. Like most shows you have to watch from the beginning to understand certain obstacles and story lines that some of these characters or cases lead up to. Criminal Minds is no different. Criminal Minds comes on Wednesdays on CBS but also A & E and the ION channels.
Pretty Little Liars
I did not care for this show at all when it first came on. I was not interested until the third season. So I binged watched the two previous seasons to understand what was going on. I will admit that I was wrong, because I really like this show. It has a bit of suspense, mystery and drama. It's very intriguing and it grabs you right in. The last episode was on June 27 but this show will go down as one of the best! Pretty Little Liars came on the Freeform on Tuesday nights, but you can watch it on Netflix or Hulu on computers.
Chrisley Knows Best
This show is a reality but it's not like the usual ones you see. This family seems so genuine and I can tell they love each other. There is always a valuable lesson to be learned and you will cry laugh and feel inspired while watching this show. Chrisley Knows Best comes on the USA network and sometimes on E!
Chicago PD
This is my last police show, I promise! Chicago PD was a show I didn't expect to like so much. But after watching a few crossover episodes with Law & Order SVU, I knew I had to watch. I started watching this show when season three premiered and during this time I binged on the first two seasons. This show is one of the best and I'm always trying to solve  the cases with them. As with other shows like law and order and criminal Minds you can't help put to love each character. You can watch this show on Wednesdays after law and order or on demand.
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives
The food network has to be one of my favorite channels. This show is my number one favorite. The food is great to look at and one day I might visit some of these places. So if you're a food person you should definitely watch. I should warn you that you'll be hungry before the show even starts!
Famous In Love
Marlene King is known for creating the Pretty Little Liars series and although it's ended, she didn't leave us empty handed. Famous In Love is a great show and it got my attention quick. To summarize what this show is about, I'll just say love lust betrayal drama and many secrets! If you're into shows that have a juicy plot and interesting story lines, I definitely recommend this show. It comes on Freeform (previously ABC Family). It usually comes on Tuesdays but while it's not on television, it is however on the freeform app.
Two Broke Girls
I'm sad two broke girls was cancelled, this show always cheered me up. There was never a dull moment and the chemistry between Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs (Max and Caroline) was great. This show is always showing repeats on television. I believe on TBS, so if you're interested in watching it's on this channel.
If you want these shows already or if you have suggestions for me, let me know!

NYX Ultimate Warm Palette

Tuesday, July 18, 2017
Everyone girls favorite thing to buy is makeup. I love makeup am I good at applying, not so much but that's ok. Don't worry I never leave the house with on, I don't want people staring at me! I am very picky when it comes to makeup. I'm not really into bright eyeshadows, I'm more of a neutral warm tone kind of person. So while I was on Instagram NYX cosmetics posted a picture of their ultimate warm palette and I almost flipped out.
This palette is so gorgeous! The colors are vibrant but not loud if you get my drift. In this palette you will light softer tones and dark warm tones. I like the variety in this palette because if you're going for a simple look you have the look light colors but if you want an evening look you can spice it up with the warmer colors!
I'm very excited about these colors because they are super pigmented and they don't look washed out. In my opinion, I feel like certain makeup palettes give off the illusion that the colors have a lot of pigment but when you swatch or apply it to your eye, the colors don't show up as much. So it's like your packing on the eyeshadow 3 to 4 times for it to pop.
Row 1: These colors for me would be great for the highlight under the brows. If you're simple like me you could also use these for an everyday look.
Row 2: This row would be a more elegant classy look paired together with the colors in the first row.
Row 3: Here's my favorite row by far! These colors are so gorgeous and would go great for a Summertime look. This is where the vibrancy comes in with this palette. If you want to give your eyes a hot and spicy look, this is the row for you!
Row 4: This row is my second favorite and it leans more towards an evening/ nighttime look, in my opinion. This row is darker but not dull, by any means.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post! What makeup have you been loving lately?

When I find a product that I like, I usually stick to it. The NYX Cleansing Wipes is my favorite thing to use for removing my makeup. I am definitely going to be repurchasing this product. It doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky or greasy.
Avène Skin Care Soothing And Hydrating Mask
During the Summer months parts of my gets dry. I'm looking for a product that will help my skin feel soft and erase the redness that I experience. The Avène soothing and hydrating mask seems like a good product to help with all my problems.
Tigi Pro Hair Sectioning Clips
When working on my hair, it tends to become a messy process. My hair is either clumped together or all over my face. So I can't wait to use these clips. They are used for sectioning the hair in different parts. This will help me moisturized each part of my and ensure that I don't leave any section out. My hair tends to get dry during the Summer.
Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Gel For Normal To Combination Skin
If you're like me, then your skin isn't  just in one category. I have a combination of dry and oily skin. This is so annoying because for the most part it's hard to find a product that works for both problems. So when I found the Clarins HydraQuench Cream Gel, I knew I wanted to try this out.
Bath & Body Works Cocoshea Cucumber Body Scrub For Women
I love using body scrubs! Not only are they great for exfoliating, but the results are smooth soft skin. So I would love to try this cucumber body scrub. When I think of cucumbers, I feel calm and relaxed. Most importantly it would be great for a pamper day!
Astor Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover Without Acetone
I recently started paying attention to things that are in the products, I use. So while doing some research I learned that Acetone is not good for you. Using remover with Acetone will dry your cuticles. So I will be purchasing Acetone free remover.

Ways To Get Out Of A Bad Mood

Tuesday, July 11, 2017

I don't know about you, but when I'm not in a good mood it seems as if the day is one obstacle after another. I mean it's like a ripple effect, that I just can't get past. When I used to hear people say, "If you wake up in a bad mood, your whole day will be negative".

Usually I just brushed them off until it actually happened to me one day. I was pissed of at every little thing that happened. So I started having a positive mindset and it actually does help, sometimes! In case you're feeling this way sometimes or quite often, I decided to share with you ways to get out of a bad mood.
Wake Up Early.
I'm not a morning person at all. So this is contradicting what I'm trying to say. But seriously waking up 5 minutes earlier actually helps get the day started. During these five minutes you can meditate, do a couple of yoga poses or writing out tasks you want to complete throughout the day. Another way to you can be motivated is by reading inspirational quotes to keep you staying positive.
Write Goals.
It's great to setup goals for yourself. Not only does it keep you organized but it helps you keep track of your progress. In my opinion having a plan keeps me grounded and I knowing the things I want to accomplish help me stay motivated.
Find A New Hobby.
Taking up a new hobby can definitely have a positive effect on you. Maybe you've out grown your current hobby or you may need a break from it. You can go to a kickboxing class, rock climb and even hiking. I would love to go hiking and this is definitely on my bucket list! If you're not into this stuff you can take dance classes, paint during your free time or knit. Sometimes I like to make friendship bracelets, your probably thinking how old is she!
Take Time For Yourself.
Everyone deserves to have some peace and quiet for themselves. During this time you can take a hour or so to give yourself a spa day at home. You can even go to the park and walk around and get some fresh air!

I hope you have these ways helpful and if you things you do, please let me know!
